Responsible for backend development of a tanker parts e-commerce site. Established customers login for custom pricing, which is accessed live using an API. Customized Woocommerce to facilitate rapid page load speeds. Guest customers get pricing from the Woocommerce products table. Achieved full integration with the POS system including customers and orders. Pricing, inventory, and tracking numbers are updated via the API. Orders are placed using warehouse routing. Wrote a plugin to geofence a category of parts. The project resulted in more accurate prices and shipping charges, reduced administrative time, and increased traffic.
